To Our Valued Dental Patients:
The Deschutes Rim Health Clinic congratulates Dr. Maggie Anderson, our dentist, on landing a much hoped-for Dental Director position based out of Portland. Her last day will be in early March and she will continue to complete any course of treatment already started. We all, including her patients, will miss her greatly. However, our dental hygienist, Kyrsten Sprouse, will continue her excellent work uninterrupted at the clinic for most established patients needing cleanings or periodontal maintenance.
Dr. Ron Selis, the clinic’s Dental Advisor, is helping us in our search for Dr. Anderson’s replacement. We expect to find one soon. You’ll hear when we do!

Currently, Deschutes Rim Health Clinic receives .25/$1,000 from property taxes. This funding is the lowest in the state for a Health District and is not enough to sustain healthcare services for our community members.
In May, the new board of the White River Health District will seek to renew the additional Option Tax of .50/$1,000 in order to work to restore clinic operations and continue to provide critical healthcare services to the residents of South Wasco County.
